It’s all about finding the right direction

Welcome to my Blog site.  I’m taking a break from business life for 6 months and doing a few things that I feel I need to do.  First there is getting away for a long break and I have decided to aim for Asia and then carry on around the world to Australia and the USA.  Then there is working out along the route what I want to do with the next phase of my life.  Sounds a bit deep, but I think everyone who also gets to 50+ thinks this way too.  Finally there is the business angle and to fine tune what I would like to do with my talents over the next 10 years, to satisfy my ambitions and reach fulfilment.  The Blog will give my travel as it unfolds and I have an area to tell you whats in my mind.  When you have time it also sparks creativity, so what ever comes up, will go down in the diatribe.  I hope you share the same sense of humour as I do.  I would love to see your replies along the route, but I will need to censor the naughty words and innuendoes.

Enjoy your trip! I can’t remember being 40, Maxine, or even 50! But like Paula I look forward to following your travels. Sadly I have nothing so exotic planned for this year – Whitby, Eurodisney and Ledbury are my planned destinations punctuated by regular trips to Boulmer; hopefully we will have suitable weather to make these by motorcycle. Cruises will have to wait until two teenagers have ‘flown the nest’ and until Mrs T reaches retirement too! Probably only 10 years to count down!
